Despite the recession, toy recalls and toy laws, and with the closing of Tree Top Toys in Lake Forest Park, we felt the need for a new kind of community-based toy store. A toy store that offers more educational toys, more science, more arts and crafts, more family games and puzzles, more wooden toys, more local products from the Northwest. A toy store that includes a birthday party room, art classes, free gift wrapping, and a place to meet with friends and have a free latte or hot tea. A toy store owned, run and staffed by families in our community who love kids, families and community building.
